Summer 2007

     This Moccasin is made for a Lakota medicine man as a special gift for a healing ceremony. In Native culture, people ask some help to a medicine man  and give a very special gift to him instead of monetary reward. In this piece, I borrow a hail design from Lakota tradition. The hail and thunder designs represent the medicine man’s supernatural gifted power.
