In this piece, I express one of the most essential humanity, Love & mercy, in a woman body with beading techniques. The unconditional LOVE of mother is the most powerful and beautiful thing beyond cultures around the world. By using a traditional tattoo style of my culture with the English word “LOVE”, I highlight and celebrate the wonderful common feeling of the all humanity in this world. In the piece the Japanese goddess of love and mercy, Hibokan-non, is blessing a pure new-born baby and sending down the baby to this world, Tokyo.
